Digital desk: In a horrific incident, a father was fatally attacked by his son in Guwahati city on Sunday.
As per reports, the victim, identified as Dayabhakta Das was a resident of Chapaidang within the jurisdiction of the Panikhaiti police station.
Reportedly, the man was beaten to death by his son Prantos Das. The accused killed his father over a family altercation. The incident occurred on Sunday night, as Dayabhakta Das's excessive alcohol consumption, during which he allegedly assaulted both his wife and son.
Following the tragic incident, the police responded and arrested Prantos Das.
