Digital Desk: A deeply distressing incident has sent shockwaves through the community as the body of a 12-year-old girl was discovered hanging at a residence in Vidyanagar.
The tragic incident occurred at the house of Shanti Singh, specifically on the first floor of his house in Vidyanagar.
The young girl, reportedly from an indigenous community of Sarupathar, had been working at Shanti Singh's residence.
Authorities, including officials from the Hojai police, along with a magistrate, had arrived at the scene to investigate the incident.
Senior officials, including the Superintendent of Police, Additional Superintendent of Police, and Deputy Superintendent of Police from the Hojai district, are actively involved in the investigation.
The incident has left the community in shock, as questions surrounding the circumstances of the girl's death remain unanswered.
