Guwahati: Veer Lachit Sena leader Shrinkhal Chaliha slams controversial crusader Satya Ranjan Borah for his recent viral Facebook post on Wednesday.
Shrinkhal Chaliha referring to Borah as mentally sick, stated, “Satya Ranjan Borah is losing his mental prowess to think properly and is harmful to society. So, people like him should be arrested and send to jail.”
Additionally, Chaliha demanding the Assam government to take the same legal action which was taken against arrested MLA Sherman Ali, Chaliha said, “Satya Ranjan Borah made the same defamatory comment as Sherman Ali. So, the government should take the same action against Borah also.”

Recently, Satya Ranjan Borah made a defamatory comment against a minority community and its religious preacher Prophet Muhammad and 72 maidens of the community on a social media platform.
Borah, in its post, said, “Prophet Muhammad is a dacoit and the 72 maidens as prostitutes, for whom the entire Muslim community is mad.”
Moreover, Chaliha also demanded the Assam government to ban the organizations involved in blackening a hoarding message written in the Assamese language.
Earlier, the Cachar police arrested two members of the All Bengali Students Youth Organization identified as Raju Deb and Samar das for allegedly damaging Assamese hoardings by smearing black ink on them
