Digital Desk: In a powerful and motivating session with students, space science expert Shubhanshu Shukla encouraged young minds to dream big and pursue careers in space exploration. Sharing a picture of the challenging life of an astronaut, he gave an account of how the astronauts are taught to cope with any eventuality that might occur in space.

“I’m sure many kids from across India will grow up to become astronauts,” Shukla said. “Maybe one of you will be the first Indian to set foot on the Moon.”

He also emphasized the peculiarities of space conditions, including living in microgravity and an increased level of radiation exposure in the International Space Station.

The session that Shukla held was meant to instill curiosity and desire in students as she made them feel that they could do anything out of this world. He wanted to send out a message: that like the stars we can achieve anything through hard work and commitment.
