One of the four officials who blocked access to the Assam Police Headquarters on May 19 was Manoj Rajbongshi.

Four officials—Rupjyoti Kalita, Additional SP (Crime), Inspector Bhaskar Kalita, OC North Lakhimpur PS, Sanjib Bora, IC Naoboisha outpost, and Manoj Rajbongshi—were immediately barred from accessing Assam Police Headquarters due to the ongoing investigation into the death of SI Junmoni Rabha.
The following officials were instructed to immediately turn in their assignments and report to the Assam police headquarters, according to the directive.

On Saturday, another police officer holding the sub-inspector (UB) rank was also closed to the Assam police headquarters. Abhajyoti Rabha, a sub-inspector from Nagaon DEF, has been instructed to report immediately to the Ulubari headquarters of the Assam police.

Meanwhile, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has been recommended to take over the investigation of all four cases that have been filed in Assam's Nagaon and Lakhimpur districts by the Director General of Police (DGP) GP Singh after reviewing every aspect of the case and speaking with the CID Assam and senior police officers from Assam police headquarters.
