Digital Desk: One more person and his assistant have been detained by Pune Rural Police in connection with the murder of Punjabi artist Sidhu Moose Wala.
Santosh Jadhav and Navnath Suryawanshi were named as suspects in the high-profile murder investigation.
Kulwant K Sarangal, Additional Director General of Police (ADG), Law and Order, announced during a press conference that they will be investigated further, including their ties to Lawrence Bishnoi's gang and the murder of Moose Wala.
They were brought before a Pune court at midnight on Sunday and put in police detention until June 20.
"Santosh Jadhav and Navnath Suryawanshi were apprehended last night in Gujarat. Their remand is in effect until June 20. "More investigation is needed, including their ties to Lawrence Bishnoi's gang and the murder of Moose Wala," he stated.
He further revealed that Jadhav was previously wanted by the Pune Rural police for his role in the August 2021 horrific murder of criminal Onkar Bankhule.
On June 8, Sourav Mahakal, a Santosh Jadhav accomplice and a suspect in the murder of singer Sidhu Moose Wala, was also detained.
Meanwhile, Delhi police announced that mobster Lawrence Bishnoi, who is presently in custody, was the mastermind behind the murder of musician Sidhu Moosewala, and that a close friend of the main gunman involved in the savage death in Punjab's Mansa last month had been apprehended.
On June 6, Punjab Police detained Sandeep alias Kekra, who allegedly provided the eight sharp-shooters with real-time information on the singer's movements.
According to authorities, Sandeep allegedly offered indications that pointed to Lawrence Bishnoi, his brother Anmol, and nephew Sachin's involvement.
