The education department in Sikkim issued an order indicating that schools in the districts of Pakyong, Gangtok, Namchi, and Mangan will be closed for the next four days.

Earlier today, Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang asked residents to be cautious and avoid unnecessary travel.
This comes after 23 army men went missing following the severe flash floods that wreaked devastation in the state, with water levels rising to 15-20 feet downstream.
