The patient treated by CM Dr Manik Saha at Tripura Medical College Hospital was his student. He was hurt in a car accident...


Digital Desk: Dr. Manik Saha, Chief Minister of Tripura, went to his old workplace, Tripura Medical College to treat a patient, as an MBBS doctor was admitted to the hospital after being injured in a two-wheeler accident. He was, incidentally, a student of Dr. Manik Saha.


The CM himself uploaded the images on his X account on Tuesday (October 3). CM stated that a car accident caused a right subcondylar fracture in one of his students. As a result, he took the opportunity to travel to Tripura Medical College and Dr. Baram Technical Hospital for treatment.

When CM Saha arrived at the hospital for treatment of the patient, the doctors present accorded him a warm welcome. Concerning his protection, rigorous security measures were put in place surrounding the hospital. Dr Saha stated on social media that information about the patient's condition will be collected in the future.

 Dr. Manik Saha had previously visited the hospital after abandoning the election campaign and performed oral cyst lesion surgery on a 10-year-old boy. Before becoming CM, Saha was the head of the Tripura Medical College Hospital's Oral & Maxillofacial Department.


He is also well-known throughout the state as a competent surgeon. Tripura Medical College doctors have sought his advice on a variety of issues.
