 A 12-year-old sixth-grade student was reportedly subjected to continuous sexual harassment for over a month by seven eleventh-grade students.


The accused students are now in police custody. This incident has raised serious concerns about the safety and security measures within educational institutions.


According to reports, the principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Rangia, filed an FIR at Rangia Police Station following the serious allegations by the student.


The police promptly initiated an investigation and detained the seven accused students from various locations in the Kamrup district.
