According to officials, the car struck an unidentified vehicle as it reached the Unchi Bassi settlement.

Digital Desk: At least four men were killed after their car and a truck crashed on the Jalandhar-Pathankot road today, January 27. The victims were traveling from Jalandhar to Mukerian on Friday night when the incident occurred, according to Sub-Inspector Harprem Singh, SHO of the Dasuya Police Station.

According to officials, the car struck an unidentified vehicle as it reached the Unchi Bassi settlement. It then struck the road divider and a truck approached from the opposite direction on the other side of the road.
 
The car caught fire because of the collision's extreme force. Five people were in the car; the fifth was taken to the Civil Hospital, where he later passed away from his injuries. Four of the passengers perished instantly. In the incident, Sushil Kumar, a truck driver from Haryana, also suffered injuries.

It is to be noted that further investigation into the matter is underway.
