New Delhi: India sees a huge jump in the number of positive Covid – 19 cases. According to reports of the Union Home Ministry, this is the biggest jump in daily new cases in nearly 3 months with 26,291more people testing positive.
According to recent reports released this morning, 118 people have died due to the virus and this takes the total tally of death to 1, 58,725. On the other hand 2, 19,262 people are still under treatment.
Even as vaccination drive is underway in the country, many cities have announced weekly and weekend lockdowns in the face of these growing numbers of positive cases.
