Digital Desk: Gautami Tadimalla, a Tamil actress and BJP leader, resigned from the party, citing a lack of support from the party and party officials as well as their betrayal of her trust.

In a strongly worded resignation letter, Tadimalla stated, "Today I stand at an unimaginable crisis point in my life and find that not only do I not have any support from the Party and leaders, but it has also come to my knowledge that several amongst them have been actively helping and supporting the very person who has betrayed my trust and cheated me of my life savings".

Tadimalla stated in her resignation letter, accusing party leader C Alagappan of defrauding her: "I have worked in the film, television, radio, and digital media industries for 37 years, starting my career when I was 17 years old. I have worked my entire life to support my daughter's future and to be financially stable at this age. My daughter and I should have been settled, comfortable, and secure by now, but to my dismay, Mr. C. Alagappan has embezzled my money, assets, and documents."

"Like any Indian citizen, I have complied with all national laws, regulations, and procedures to retrieve my hard-earned money, possessions, and documents. I do this with the utmost respect and confidence that I will be granted justice. , I have filed several complaints with complete trust in my Chief Minister, my police department, and my judicial system, but I find that the process has been inexplicably dragging on,' Tadimalla stated in her letter of resignation.
