Digital Desk: A teacher from Nalbari has been accused of sending obscene messages to a 12th-grade student, thus tarnishing the purity of the teaching profession.


This shameful incident occurred at the West Banbhag Higher Secondary School in Khatikuchi, Nalbari, under the jurisdiction of the Ghagrapar police station.


Abed Ali, who works at West Banbhag Higher Secondary School, is facing allegations from a Class 12 student of his own school.


As per allegations, a student had been receiving obscene messages and phone calls from Abed Ali for a long time, which led her to stop attending school.


The girl's family members confronted the teacher while he was on his way to the school. They took help from the local community and questioned him regarding the incident.


However, the teacher managed to flee the scene and took shelter in Khatikuchi Hospital.


The local residents immediately reported the incident to the Ghagrapar police, leading to his arrest.


The police are currently investigating the incident.
