Digital Desk: A shocking incident of alleged brutality by a teacher has come to light from Sapekhati in Assam’s Charaideo district. A teacher has been accused of severely beating a Class II student at Mahalaxmi Primary School.
According to reports, the young female student was allegedly brutally assaulted by the teacher, who repeatedly hit her on the back and legs inside the school premises.
The accused teacher has been identified as Tilak Karmakar. Following the incident, a complaint was lodged against him at Borhat Police Station.
Police have since taken the accused teacher into custody and further investigation into the incident is currently underway. The incident has sparked outrage among local residents and parents in the area
