The incident started on Thursday, killing one of the terrorists, and ended on Friday with the security personnel neutralizing the second terrorist after a shootout.

Digital Desk: Two Lashkar terrorists from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) and Pakistan were slain in an anti-terror operation in Sopore, Jammu and Kashmir on Friday, according to India Today reports.

The two accused, Abdul Wahab from Rawalpindi, Pakistan, and Sanam Zafar from Mirpur, POK, have been identified.

They arrived in North Kashmir's Sopore about a month ago, according to sources. But how they got over the border to get to this area is unknown.

According to the authorities, it is thought that both of them had resided in the wilderness in North Kashmir for a while before moving to Sopore town after looking at the photos on their phones.

The incident started on Thursday, killing one of the terrorists, and ended on Friday with the security personnel neutralizing the second terrorist after a shootout.

The incident also resulted in injuries to two army members and a civilian.
