Digital Desk: A tragic road accident occurred when a high-speed vehicle bearing registration number AS 03 CC- 5701, heading towards Titabor from Teliyapatti of Komarbandha Ali, struck Prabhat Bora, a resident of Chaparichuk village in the Namchungi area, who was walking along the same route.
The accident took place in front of Bakhar Bora Primary School at Bhogoniya village on Chungi Ali.
The severely injured individual was immediately rushed to the hospital by his family with the assistance of the police.
Unfortunately, despite receiving medical attention, he succumbed to his injuries later that night.
Meanwhile, the intoxicated driver, identified as Pankaj Kumar Bora from Amgurikhat, Titabor, attempted to flee the scene.
However, due to the prompt action of local residents, the police managed to apprehend the driver and seize the vehicle in the incident.
