Digital Deks: A tragic road accident occurred in the early hours of October 28 at Silchang, Jagiroad, claiming the lives of three individuals on the spot.
The deceased have been identified as Dr. Kantheswar Bordoloi, Ashik Hussain, and Manash Mahanta.
The accident involved a Creta vehicle bearing registration number AS-01EW-6546, carrying five passengers at the time of the crash.
Two other passengers sustained severe injuries and were immediately rushed to Nagaon for urgent medical treatment.
The incident took place on National Highway 27 near Silchang when the speeding vehicle lost control, collided with a divider, and overturned.
Dr. Kantheswar Bordoloi, one of the deceased, was a doctor at Morigaon Civil Hospital.
His untimely demise has left the hospital community and his family members in profound sorrow.
After the post-mortem examination, Dr. Bordoloi's mortal remains will be taken to his residence at Gosorguri for the final rites.
