Agartala: A representative of Bharatiya Janata Party from Agartala stated that the Trinamool leaders should be attacked the same way as Taliban practices.
Bharatiya Janata Party MLA from Tripura, Arun Chandra Bhowmik, build a controversy by remarking that Trinamool Congress (TMC) leaders should be struck in 'Taliban style.
Reportedly, the statement was delivered throughout the felicitation ceremony for the recently initiated Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Pratima Bhowmik.
The viral video on social media platforms shows the leader asking his party affiliates to attack TMC in Taliban style.
The leader stated, "I request to all of you that we need to hit them in Talibani style. We need to attack them once they land at the airport here. We will defend our government headed by Biplab Kumar Deb with each drop of blood,"
He additionally added that TMC has been striving to harm the ruling government in Tripura and claimed that this was occurring under the influence of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
