"No challenge is 'Virat' (huge) or 'Gambhir' (serious) for us." "Dial 112 for any emergency," the UP Police tweeted in Hindi, garnering 1. 8 million views and over 50,000 likes.

The state police department, which has 2.9 million followers on Twitter, also posted a photo of the on-field altercation. The UP police also issued a warning to people who disregard traffic laws. The UP police warned drivers to keep a safe distance from other vehicles on the road in a tweet with the hashtag #DistanceMatters.

The UP Police Department's official Twitter account also stated, "Calling for a strategic timeout over loudspeakers." After 10 p.m., don't let your speakers blast shouts for your preferred teams. Keep the sporting spirit and volume in check."
