Hyundai Santro car reportedly lost control due to overspeeding
Digital Desk: A tragic road accident claimed the lives of two people on National Highway 38 near Split Villa Hotel at Digboi’s Three Number Golai on 28th Feb night.
The accident occurred late at night when a Hyundai Santro car reportedly lost control due to overspeeding and crashed violently into a roadside tree. Both occupants of the vehicle died on the spot due to the impact.
The accident-involved vehicle bore registration number AS-23-Q-6783.
The deceased have been identified as Shantu Debnath and Mridul Debnath, residents of Milan Nagar in Digboi.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
