New Delhi: In the latest development, the Union cabinet to withdraw the three contentious farm laws during its next meeting on November 24, report said.

The three-bill will be introduced in the forthcoming winter session of the Parliament scheduled to begin from November 29.

On Friday, during the occasion of Gurupurab, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced to repeal the three farms laws in the interest of the nation.

The Prime Minister also announced that the government would constitute a committee to work on a new framework for Minimum Support Price (MSP).

Notably, farmers who have been protesting at three sites on Delhi’s border since November last year said that they would continue the protest till Parliament repeals them.
