Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has said those above 18 are being vaccinated at 85 centres in seven districts, where active COVID-19 cases are high, from today.
2500 centres for 45+ have begun phase 3 vaccinations today. We've also begun vaccination for 18+ age category & included 7 districts where positivity rate & active cases are highest- Lucknow, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Gorahpur, Bareilly, Kanpur and Meerut, 85 separate centres for 18+ set up: CM
In next 5 days, vaccination will be done in these 85 centres at 7 districts. After this, everyone will be given vaccines in other districts. We have decided to give free vaccines to people between 18-44 years of age. People above 45 years of age are being given free vaccine: CM
