Digital Desk: The Uttar Pradesh Police has detained a Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorist who had been ordered to kill BJP politician Nupur Sharma.

After her comments on the Prophet led to widespread protests in India and a number of formal complaints from Gulf countries, Nupur Sharma was removed from her position as the BJP's spokesperson.

Mohammed Nadeem, a citizen of Saharanpur, UP's Kunda Kala village, has been named as the terrorist.

The Anti-Terrorist Squad of the UP Police was informed that the 25-year-old terrorist had direct communication with JeM (Jaish-e-Muhammad) and TTP (Tehreek-e-Taliban).

According to intelligence provided to the UP ATS, a man in Saharanpur who was motivated by TTP and Jaish ideology was getting ready to launch a "Fidayeen" attack.

According to investigators, Mohammed Nadeem's phone records and texts indicated that he was prepared to travel to Pakistan for military training.

He was found to have a mobile phone, and the ATS reported that it included a PDF file with the title "Explosive Course Fidae Force."

Additionally, chat and voice messages with Jaish and the Tehreek-e-Taliban were found on Mohammed Nadeem's phone, according to the police.

According to investigators, he obtained instruction from terrorist organisations on how to create virtual phone lines. He was receiving "Fidayeen" attack instruction from a Pakistani man named Saifullah on governmental structures or police personnel. To receive specialised training, the terrorist was asked to go to Pakistan.

In the case, the terrorist has also identified his Indian allies, and authorities have launched an inquiry.

According to the police, Mohammed Nadeem communicated with terrorist organisations via Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Telegram, Club House, and other social media sites.
