decreased to 6.71 percent in July, primarily as a result of moderate increases
in food costs.

inflation peaked in June at 7.01 percent and peaked in July 2021 at 5.59
percent.

June to 6.75 percent.
Retail
inflation measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI) remained over the Reserve
Bank of India's upper tolerance range of 6%, nonetheless. For the previous
