Digital Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the US next month at the invitation of President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden. This information was provided in a formal statement released by the White House.

In accordance with the statement, "President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden will host Prime Minister Narendra Modi of the Republic of India for an Official State Visit to the United States, which will include a state dinner, on June 22, 2023."

The upcoming visit will reaffirm the strong ties of family and friendship that bind Americans and Indians together as well as the US and India's longstanding alliance.

The statement said that the visit will "strengthen the two nations' shared commitment to a free, open, prosperous, and secure Indo-Pacific as well as our shared resolve to elevate our strategic technology partnership, including in defence, clean energy, and space."

"The leaders will discuss ways to further expand our educational exchanges and people-to-people ties, as well as our work together to confront common challenges from climate change, to workforce development, and health security," it was noted.
In their recent meeting, President Biden and Prime Minister Modi discussed important and emerging technologies as well as artificial intelligence. The US and India are strategic allies.

According to an official statement from the Prime Minister's office, both parties discussed strong cooperation in future-focused industries such essential and emerging technologies, advanced computing, and artificial intelligence.
