Two people have been arrested in connection with the crime: Azadveer Singh and Amreek Singh.

Digital Desk: Police reported Thursday morning that three explosives containers were the cause of the Wednesday night low-intensity incident in Amritsar near the Golden Temple.

Gaurav Yadav, the DGP for Punjab, stated during a news conference that the Guru Ramdas Inn was where the explosives were assembled. Two people have been arrested in connection with the crime: Azadveer Singh and Amreek Singh. Amreek Singh (26), a native of the Gurdaspur district's Adian village while Azadveer (36) is from Baba Bakala Amritsar
It is the third such occurrence to occur in this sacred city in the past week, and it happened late at night.
 
According to Amritsar officers Commissioner Naunihal Singh, officers were alerted to "a loud sound" at around midnight. A forensic team has arrived at the scene, and the entire area has been blocked, Singh informed reporters, adding that "it is suspected that another explosion has taken place."
