When the actor was recently out and about, the paparazzi approached him and requested him to pose for photos. A female fan approached him as he was standing outside his car and asked him to take photographs with her. After he provided her with images, the fan invited him to her jewellery store and promised not to charge him if he ever visited. Varun Dhawan, taken aback, admonished her, "Arre free sona mat do (Don't offer free gold)." When she heard this, the fan stated that she would not charge him any additional charges. Varun Dhawan was most recently seen in his father's directorial Coolie No 1, in which he co-starred with Sara Ali Khan. The public and critics both slammed the comedy escapade, which got a direct release on Amazon Prime Video. In terms of next ventures, Varun will next be seen in Amar Kaushik's horror comedy Bhediya, in which he will co-star with Kriti Sanon. The film is set to be released in theatres on November 25, 2022. In addition to this film, he appears in Raj Mehta's family comedy Jug Jugg Jeeyo, which also stars Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor.
