Digital Desk: The cricketing world is buzzing with anticipation as India's star batter, Virat Kohli, expressed his unwavering determination to end India's 12-year wait for the coveted ODI World Cup title. Kohli, along with his teammates, is set to transform the aspirations of millions of fans into reality.

The "Men in Blue," has previously clinched the prestigious World Cup title twice, with their most recent triumph in 2011 when the tournament was co-hosted by India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. Under the leadership of the legendary MS Dhoni, India secured a memorable victory in the final, defeating Sri Lanka by six wickets at Mumbai's iconic Wankhede Stadium.

Despite coming tantalizingly close in the 2015 and 2019 editions held in Australia, New Zealand and England, the elusive title has slipped through their grasp. Now, Virat Kohli stands poised and determined to break the drought and bring the World Cup home once more.

"The passion and unwavering support of our fans are what fuel our determination to win the World Cup. The memories of past World Cup victories, especially the iconic 2011 win, are etched in our hearts, and we want to create new memories for our fans," Kohli told Star Sports.

"I am thrilled to be a part of this incredible campaign, which perfectly captures the emotions of our fans, and we’re ready to give it our all to make their dreams come true," he added.

Ravindra Jadeja, a key all-rounder for the Indian team, echoed Kohli's sentiments, emphasizing the motivation that comes from knowing millions of fans stand behind them.

"This campaign reflects the deep passion and obsession of our fans to see Team India win," Jadeja said. "It's a journey we're embarking on together with the entire nation, and we're determined to make our fans proud with our performances on the field."

The excitement is building as India is set to kick off their World Cup campaign against Australia in Chennai on October 8. With the determination of Kohli, Jadeja, and the entire Indian team, the hopes and dreams of a nation ride on their shoulders as they aim to bring the World Cup trophy back home.
