National Technology Day's History
For the first time in 1999, National Technology Day was officially observed in India to commemorate Indian scientific and technical achievements.
On May 11, 1999, then-Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee designated this day to be National Technology Day for the years to come.
The theme for National Technology Day 2022
Every year, a fresh and different theme is commemorated during National Technology Day. The topic shifts with the progress of the field in the country.
The subject for this year's event is "Integrated Approach in Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future," which will be held on May 10 at the Senate Hall at Punjab Engineering College.
