Digital Desk: A wildlife documentary is currently being filmed about the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Manas National Park.


The project focuses on the diverse animal species inhabiting the park and has been underway for the past month in its dense jungles.


Led by renowned wildlife filmmaker Ali Asif Sheikh from Kolkata, the documentary aims to showcase the rich diversity of Manas National Park, particularly its population of Royal Bengal tigers, leopards, and black panthers.


Ali and his team have already captured footage of ten tigers, with efforts ongoing to document more of the park's wildlife.


Manas National Park, known as a vital habitat for tigers, is home to over 115 tigers and several species that were recently considered extinct.


Ali's selection of this park highlights its ecological significance and unique wildlife.


The documentary is expected to be completed within two years, and the people of Assam are eagerly waiting for the documentary on Manas National Park.
