Digital Desk: The winter session of the Assam Legislative Assembly began on Tuesday, (December 20) at 9.30 a.m.
During the session, which will take place from December 20 to 24, the government will table at least 12 bills, including a repeal bill.
Earlier in the autumn session, 15 bills were introduced, 11 of which were amendment bills, two of which were repealing bills, and two new bills were introduced.
The two new bills were the Assam Aerial Ropeways Bill, 2022, and the Assam Unified Metropolitan Transport Authority Bill, 2022.
The session began on September 12 and ended on September 19.
