Arnab Kumar Roy, a 26-year-old journalist, ended his life prematurely, leaving his family, friends, and the journalism community in shock. His body was recovered from his rented apartment in Sewali Path, Hatigaon in Guwahati on October 21.

 
Arnab, originally from Bongaigaon, was a multitalented individual, who founded and owned Uroniya Production as well. He had completed his studies at Krishna Kanta Handique Junior College. Colleagues remembered him as a cheerful and normal person with a passion for travel, making his sudden decision the more puzzling.
