Digital Desk: A student died by suicide in Hydrabad, reportedly due to a decline in viewers to his YouTube channel, reports said.

According to reports, the 23-year-old student who was pursuing a course in the IIITM, Gwalior, on Thursday jumped from the third floor of a residential building and died on the spot.

His parents did not wake him up when they saw him sleeping in his bed on Wednesday night after they returned home. However, they were in for an immense shock when they found that their kid had leaped to his death the next day. The student was found by the watchman lying in a pool of blood on the ground, reports claimed.

According to an official from Saidabad police station, the student allegedly wrote a suicide note in which he claimed that his YouTube channel's viewership had declined and that his parents had neglected to provide career guidance, which had prompted him to become sad.

Notably, the police informed that the student was taking online classes and used to upload video game content on his channel in his free time.
