Kabul: The Taliban arrested several journalists for covering an anti-Pakistan protest in Afghanistan’s capital city, Kabul on Tuesday.


Tolo News said The Taliban stopped journalists from covering the protest and took away their cameras.

Moreover, the news agency alleged that the Taliban captured one of its photographer, Waheed Ahmadi who is doing his duty in the protest. However, the Taliban released the journalist after three hours of its captivity.


On Tuesday, hundreds of Afghans, mostly women, staged protests against Pakistan and the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).


The Afghans marched towards the Kabul Serena hotel where the ISI director has been staying since last week.


AFP reported, the Taliban opened fire on the protest to disperse the crowd.


According to a report, Pakistan’s spy agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), which is known as a terror group against India, is working with the Taliban for a new government in Afghanistan where a US-led alliance fought a war against terror for 20 years.
