Digital Desk: In a daring operation, Basistha Police successfully intercepted and arrested three notorious robbers following a high-speed motorcycle pursuit through the streets of Guwahati.
The suspects were arrested while attempting to flee the scene of a recent theft. The arrested individuals have been identified as Yusuf Ali, Sanowar Hussain, and Taibur Ali.
Police revealed that the three individuals, originally from Mankachar, Barpeta, and Kalgachia, had moved to Guwahati specifically to orchestrate a series of robberies that had caused widespread panic across the city for months.
During the operation, police recovered a significant amount of stolen items, including several kilograms of gold and silver ornaments.
The gang used to steal valuables from different locations and sell them in various jewellery shops.
This successful operation by Basistha Police has brought some relief to the residents of Guwahati.
After the arrest of this gang, which had been spreading fear through theft and robbery, police have continued their investigation to gather more information.
