  • Alam Mustafizur Rahman disappeared on the afternoon of March 3 last year
  • Family suspects that the teenager may have fled home due to academic pressure

Digital Desk: A year after 17-year-old Alam Mustafizur Rahman went missing from his home in Anand Nagar, Noonmati, his family continues to wait for answers, alleging significant police inaction in the case.

Alam Mustafizur Rahman, a class 10 student at a private school in Goalpara, disappeared on the afternoon of March 3 last year.

Although an FIR was promptly lodged at the Noonmati Police Station following an extensive search, the family claims that no concrete steps have been taken by the authorities to trace his whereabouts.

The family suspects that the teenager may have fled home due to academic pressure or fear related to his studies.

Distraught by the lack of progress, they have issued a public appeal, requesting anyone with information about the missing boy to contact the police immediately.
