Digital Desk: A commotion broke out late on the night of 6th May, at around 11 PM at a reputed biryani restaurant near RJ Bistro situated at AIDC, in Guwahati after a customer allegedly found a cockroach in a plate of chicken biryani.
The incident sparked a heated argument between the customer and the restaurant authorities, leading to chaos inside the establishment. Later, personnel from Geetanagar Police arrived at the spot and brought the situation under control.
The incident has raised serious concerns over food safety standards and the quality of food being served to customers in public dining spaces.
