Jet Airways received its Air Operator Certificate after successfully completing its test flights. This certificate was awarded after a three-year wait.


Digital Desk: Jet Airways received an Air Operator Certificate from the DGCA. As it allows to resume of commercial flight operations.


Jet Airways was "given" an "AOC," according to Arun Kumar (DGCA chairman), Directorate General of Civil Aviation.


Naresh Goyal was the previous owner of the airline. It flew its last trip on April 17, 2019. It is important to mention that the Jalan-Kalrock Consortium is promoting Jet Airways.


According to reports, the airline will resume commercial flights in the third quarter of this year.


The airline executed five proving flights on May 15-17 with DGCA officials aboard.
