  • DU Student from Tripura Found Dead in Yamuna River

Digital Desk: A 19-year-old Delhi University student, Sneha Devanath, who had been missing for a week, was tragically found dead in the Yamuna River on Sunday.


Sneha, hailing from Tripura, had moved to Delhi to pursue her studies.


The police reported that Sneha was disappeared on July 7, after which a missing person's report was filed at the Mehrauli police station, leading to an extensive search operation.


Authorities revealed that Sneha left behind a handwritten suicide note, detailing her emotional struggles and decision to end her life.


In the note, she wrote, "I am leaving my life... I feel very unsuccessful and burdensome ... living like this has become unbearable. This is my own decision; there is no conspiracy or pressure from anyone."


The police are continuing to investigate all possible angles surrounding the incident.
