Guwahati: Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) has organized a drawing competition on the occasion of Children's Day today in Guwahati. This contest was organized among pediatric patients.

Twenty-two children participated in the drawing competition. In addition, medical hospitals continue to boost the confidence of suffering children on this special day.

As per sources, presently, 100 children are being treated in the children's department of the hospital.

The event was attended by the GMCH chief superintendent Abhijit Sharma, including GMCH Chairman Achyut Vaishya. 

India celebrates Children's Day all across the nation to mark the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of India.
