 Digital Desk: An IAS officer used Twitter to motivate youngsters who are waiting for their board results by sharing his Class 10 marksheet. Tushar D Sumera, the district collector of Bharuch, Gujarat, received just passing grades in his Class 10 exam. He received 35 points in English and 36 points in Mathematics.

Awanish Sharan, a 2009 batch IAS officer from the Chhattisgarh cadre, posted a picture of Mr Sumera along with a blurred report card on Twitter.

"Bharuch Collector Tushar Sumera shared his mark sheet, revealing that he only received passing grades in his class 10 board exams. In English, he received a 35 out of 100, and in Math, he received a 36 out of 100. He was told that he couldn't do anything not only in the village, but also at his school "the article stated.

Tushar Sumera has also written Mr Sharan a thank-you note on the micro-blogging site.

Tushar Sumera joined the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in 2012. He earned his bachelor's degree in arts and worked as a schoolteacher before passing the UPSC exam.

Meanwhile, Shruti Sharma took first place in the UPSC examination this year. Ankita Agarwal came in second and Gamini Singla came in third, respectively.
