New Delhi: As far the latest report from the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India has recorded 12,428 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. Reportedly, cases are lowest in the last 238 days. This takes the total tally of cases to 3,42,02,202 in the country.

At the moment the number of active cases in the country stands at 1,63,816, which is also the lowest in the last 241 days.

In terms of deaths, around 365 new fatalities have been reported from different parts of the country. With this the total death tally in relation to the virus has reached 4,55,068 according to the data updated at 8 am. The state of Kerala has reported around 53 deaths in the last 14 hours.

As far as recovery is concerned, the current recovery rate in the country stands at 98.19 per cent.  Besides, 15,951 recoveries have been reported in the last 24 hours. 

60.19 crore Coronavirus cases have been conducted in the entire country so far.

Additionally, as far as vaccinations are concerned, around 102.94 crore vaccine doses have been conducted in the country under the national Vaccination Drive.
