Digital Desk: K-pop singer Haesoo was reportedly found dead in her hotel room. She died at the age of 29, and South Korean police reportedly found a suicide note in her hotel room. The singer's death came to light after a South Korean media outlet revealed on May 15, 2023, that they had received calls from the event's organizers informing them that the singer would no longer be attending the scheduled event as she had passed away. 

On May 20, the trot singer was scheduled to perform at the Gwanjumyeon People's Day event in Wanju Gun, Jeollabuk-do. There was no specific reason given as to why she reportedly ended her life. The police have ruled out any chance of foul play in the case.

About Haesoo

Haesoo was born in 1993 and made her professional debut with the single album My Life, Me in 2019. She rose to fame after appearing on Gayo Stage, Hangout With Yoo, and The Trot Show, where her singing enthralled everyone.

Haesoo was active on social networking sites until the day before she died. Through her social media accounts, she regularly interacted with her fans.

Earlier this year, Astro member Moonbin was found dead at his flat. Fans from all over the world expressed their sorrow at the demise of the young K-pop star.
