The Whitechapel station is located behind the Whitechapel Market and opposite the Royal London Hospital

Digital Desk: A Tube rail station in London will have Bangla signage from now onwards. Reportedly, the English sign has been joined with Bangla signs to recognize the rich cultural legacy of the significant population of Bangla-speaking people living in Whitechapel. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee shared a tweet to celebrate the victory of Bengali culture and heritage in the foreign country. “Proud to note that the London Tube Rail has accepted Bengali as a language of signage at Whitechapel Station, signifying the increasing global importance & strength of the 1000-year-old language Bengali,” the chief minister tweeted.
