It has been reported that Shami's mother, Anjum Ara, has a mild fever. Anjum Ara had prayed for Team India's win earlier in the morning.
With 23 wickets taken so far in the main event, Shami is presently India's leading wicket-taker. Following Hardik Pandya's injury during the league game against Bangladesh, the star pacer was added to the Indian playing XI.
