India's next match is against Ireland on Tuesday, followed by games against Australia and reigning champions Belgium in their final pool matches.

Digital Desk: India's captain Harmanpreet Singh once again came to the team's rescue by scoring a late equaliser to secure a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Argentina in their second men's hockey pool match at the Paris Olympics on Monday.

Argentina took the lead in the 22nd minute with a goal from Lucas Martinez, but Harmanpreet later converted India's 10th and final penalty corner to earn a vital point for his team.

India had previously defeated New Zealand in their Pool B opener on Saturday.

The match in which, the former Indian cricket captain and head coach Rahul Dravid  seen in the stands, started slowly but gained momentum as it progressed.

India's midfield performance was lacking, with vice-captain Hardik Singh and Manpreet Singh notably absent. Additionally, India's penalty corner conversion rate was disappointing, with only one goal scored from the 10 set pieces they earned throughout the game.

India's next match is against Ireland on Tuesday, followed by games against Australia and reigning champions Belgium in their final pool matches. The top four teams from each pool will advance to the quarterfinals.
