Bhattacharya has also asserted that even though Arpita Mukherjee employed other drivers, she always preferred having him behind the wheel whenever she left her Diamond Park home, particularly when she went to visit Partha Chatterjee. In January of this year, he was hired to be her driver.

Her driver was Kalyan Dhar, the husband of Arpita Mukherjee's sister. Arpita Mukherjee steered clear of using him as a driver when she went out, most likely due to familial ties.

Later, it was discovered that Dhar was also appointed as a director of three firms: Symbiosis Merchants Private Limited, Sentry Engineering Private Limited, and Echhay Entertainment Private Limited.
