Consuming ghee with warm water every morning on an empty stomach leads to various health benefits such as cholesterol reduction, improved metabolism and bowel movements, weight loss, skin health, and others.

Digital Desk: Ghee is India's most popular superfood. It consists of antioxidants, vitamins, and healthy fats that are necessary for overall well-being. Consuming ghee with warm water every morning on an empty stomach leads to various health benefits such as cholesterol reduction, improved metabolism and bowel movements, weight loss, skin health, and others.

Ghee if consumed in moderation, can be beneficial for health in many ways. Every morning add 1 tablespoon of ghee to a glass of warm water to avail the following benefits -

1. Weight Reduction: There is a myth that consuming ghee leads to obesity. Whereas having limited portions can cut down fats. Ghee is composed of Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) that helps in removing unwanted fats.

2. Natural Purgative: Ghee acts as a natural purgative as it contains butyric acid which promotes improved metabolism and proper digestion of food. This helps in stool softening and prevents constipation.

3. Cholesterol Reduction: Natural cow ghee can improve the level of (high-density lipoprotein) HDL 'good cholesterol' and reduce (low-density-lipoprotein) LDL 'bad cholesterol'. High cholesterol can lead to heart diseases, and adding ghee to one's diet can prevent heart diseases.

4. Skin Health: Ghee is rich in antioxidants and useful fatty acids which improve skin health and add nourishment. It can be beneficial to reduce skin dryness and overall skin health.
