Lahore: Reham Khan, Ex-wife of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, claims that her vehicle was held at gunpoint by unidentified individuals on Sunday night, who also opened fire on the vehicle she was travelling.

Reportedly, the incident happened when she was returning from her nephew’s wedding.

Attacking on Imran Khan, Reham stated that under the rule of PM Imran Khan, Pakistan has turned into a land of ‘cowards, thugs and the greedy’.

Reham tweeted, “On the way back from my nephew’s marriage, my car just got fired at & two men on a motorbike held vehicle at gunpoint!! I had just changed vehicles. My PS & driver were in the car. This is Imran Khan’s New Pakistan? Welcome to the state of cowards, thugs & the greedy!!”

In connection to the incident, an FIR has been filed at Shams Colony Police Station, Islamabad and the investigation is underway stated Reham.

“It’s 9 am My PS & team has not had a minute of sleep & the FIR still has not been registered in Shams Colony Police Station Islamabad. An investigation is ongoing. Waiting for a copy of the FIR.” Reham tweeted.

Earlier, after the Pulwama attack, Reham Khan claimed that Imran Khan was a puppet of the country’s military who had risen to power by compromising on ideology and moderate policies.

Reham Khan, a British-Pakistani journalist, was married to Imran Khan in a low-key ceremony in Islamabad in January 2015. However, the marriage lasted only ten months until they filed for divorce in October.
