"Veer Bal Diwas" commemorates the deaths of martyrs of Sahibzadas Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji, sons of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

Digital Desk: PM Narendra Modi will take part in a Veer Bal Diwas celebration on Monday at 12:30 p.m. at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium. The PM will also take part in a "Shabad Kirtan" that will be performed by over 300 baal kirtanis.

Additionally, the PM will flag off a march-past by 3000 kids in the nation's capital.

The occasion called "Veer Bal Diwas" commemorates the deaths of martyrs of Sahibzadas Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji, sons of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

Additionally, the government is putting on events all around the nation to inform and teach people about the valour of Sahibzades. Along with additional events including digital exhibitions, programmes such as essay writing and quiz competitions will be held.
